A closed low will continue to spin back into the Tri-State from the east on Friday. Showers and even some thunder will move in from the northeast during the day. The Storm Prediction Center has the area in a risk for general thunder on Friday, so severe weather is not likely:
Showers and storms will pick up in intensity early Friday morning before sunrise, mainly in the eastern half of the Tri-State:
By mid morning, showers will continue to push into the western half of the Tri-State:
The risk for rain will continue through the afternoon and into the evening:
Clouds and showers will linger through the first half of Saturday, and temps will stay in the mid to upper 60's.
