Stormy and wet weather will arrive in the Tri-State Friday night and linger into early next week. The Storm Prediction Center has place the area in an Enhanced Risk for severe storms late Friday night and early Saturday morning...another overnight event:
Storms will fire to our south and lift north along a warm front between midnight and 6am Saturday:
The SPC slight risk is already in place for Saturday to account for possibly 2 squall lines that will cross the region :
Damaging winds and hail will be the main threats with the squall lines on Saturday morning, and again late Saturday night/early Sunday morning:
A flash flood watch continues through early Monday for Illinois, and will likely be expanded to include southern Indiana and western Kentucky:
